San Francisco 49ers -- a fans' page

Log onto your FACEBOOK account to follow us on FACEBOOK! The spirit of the fan-ship of the San Francisco 49ers is rich with history and pride! "Faithful City" is a great experience for both young and old!
It's the ultimate tailgate party located in the main parking lot near Gate 4 and opens three hours before kickoff and closes shortly after the game begins.

Modeled after the NFL experience, "Faithful City" features interactive games that test passing, kicking and running skills. Fans will be able to take part in live broadcasts from KNBR & 107.7 The Bone, receive autographs from San Francisco 49ers alumni and Gold Rush cheerleaders, all before kick off.

So are you ready for a game??? If you are as pumped as I am for this season then look below for the schedule and how to buy tickets.

This season is going to be better than ever. Here is the new 2009 schedule, so grab your red & gold and get ready for your San Francisco 49ers!!

Friendly Tip!!
Buy your tickets from a reputable retailer!

Watch out for "SCALPERS" - people selling tickets out on the street when games are sold out or close to being sold out for a much higher price than ticket value.

BE CAREFUL!!! More often than not the tickets are FAKE. You wont be allowed in and they will be confiscated at the ticket gates.

San Francisco 49er History...

San Francisco 49ersThough the San Francisco 49ers team started in the late 1940's it wasn't until the 1970's that they won a championship game, and we owe that turn around to the great and beloved, Bill Walsh.

Walsh led the 49ers to currently share the record for most Super Bowl victories (five) with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Dallas Cowboys.

Under Walsh, the 49ers teams of the 1980s and early 1990s are considered to be among the greatest teams in NFL history. He built a team of NFL greats with players such as Jerry Rice, O.J Simpson, Ronnie Lot, Bob St. Clair, Steve Young and of course, Joe Montana.

His heart and utter love for the game has burned a place in every fans memory as one of the greatest coaches of all time.

My Story

I love my San Francisco 49ers! I have been watching them since I was about 5 or 6 years old & I have openly said that Joe Montana is one of my personal heroes!
When I was 7 when the 49ers won Super Bowl XXIII, when Joe Montana gained 92 yards for a victory pass in the last 34 seconds of the game.

Then the next year with Super Bowl XXIV, where amongst many records was the so beautiful Hail Mary pass by Joe Montana.
Then in 1990 the San Francisco 49ers were going for a "three-peat" and almost had the chance, but during the Conference Championships the New York Giants took advantage of a 4th quarter injury to Montana; kicking a field goal in the final minutes of the game, winning the 15-13 and going on to win Super Bowl XXV.

However, during their quest for a "three-peat" between 1988 and 1990, the San Francisco 49ers set a league record with 18 consecutive road victories. To this date, it never has been broken and no NFL team has ever successfully "three-peated".

Before the beginning of the 2007 season, our beloved Bill Walsh passed away on July 30, 2007 due to Leukemia.
