Log onto your FACEBOOK account to follow us on FACEBOOK!San Francisco Chinatown is the largest outside of China, the most densely populated city in California and one of the most visited neighborhood's in San Francisco.

San Francisco Chinatown GateThe main entrance to this busy neighborhood is a sight within itself with its' ornate dragon gate at the corner of Grant & Bush streets. The gate was a gift from the Republic of China in 1969 and has a quote from Dr. Sun Yat-sen that reads "All under heaven is for the food of the people."

Speaking of food, this is just one of the many treats that San Francisco Chinatown has to offer. The streets are lined with new and old culture from "nick-nack" shops to Chinese medicine dens and just about everything else in between.

People watching and window shopping are the best during the weekends when the locals are out doing their weekly shopping and merchants have their windows lined with anything from Peking duck to live fish, fresh vegetables to handmade fortune cookies.
