I had the honor to work and learn from Chef Staffan Terje and I owe my passion & knowledge for food and fine dining to this very talented man! His passion for food and his pride of honoring the culinary traditions of Italy have named Perbacco the best fine dining Italian restaurant in San Francisco. Staffan travels to Italy 4 times a year to seek out new recipes and discover traditional Italian methods of cooking. The menu changes seasonally and you will never find chicken with pasta- so don't even ask! Some of the items you just can't miss there are the breadsticks, house-cured charcuterie platter, any of the house-made pastas, the dried-aged steak and the panna cotta. The wine list is impeccable and can be intimidating if you are not familiar with European wines, but do not fear!
