Using
San Francisco's public transportation can be a little intimidating at
first, I'll be the first one to admit that.
But the City, honestly, has one of the easiest and convenient modes of
public transportation in the world.
When
I first moved to San Francisco I didn't own a car so I took the bus
& walked EVERYWHERE!
I slowly started to figure out short cuts and
better routes.
I now know the city like the back of my hand and I am
here to help you.
One of the greatest things about traveling to San Francisco is that you
don't need a car to get around. Why?
Because San Francisco has
one of the most advanced and user friendly public transportation
systems in the world, The San Francisco MUNI and the San Francisco BART.
It's cheaper than gas & bridge tolls, good for the environment and
it's less confusing than
trying to drive in the city... (trust me on that one!!) Plus it makes
it
possible for you to get around and actually SEE the city- not just
drive past it.
And if you MUST drive, I suggest taking a day or two and go to one of
many car rental companies- grab a map and go out of the
city limits.
